In an effort to clarify the situation, HT City reached out to Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha. He indicated that the recent chatter regarding a possible divorce has been exaggerated. Sinha stated, “Sunita ji ne jo recent interviews mein baatein boli hain, yeh unn sab ka nateeja hai. Unhone zyaada bol diya hai. And you know Govinda sir… there is friction.”

When asked about any legal proceedings, Sinha denied any such developments, saying, “No they are not involved as of now. I would urge everyone to wait for a day or two.”

The speculation gained traction after a Reddit post suggested that Govinda, 61, and Sunita were on the verge of separating, citing an alleged extra-marital affair involving the actor and a younger female co-star as one of the key reasons. Despite these serious claims, neither Govinda nor Sunita has commented on the media reports.

In recent interviews and interactions with the paparazzi, Sunita hinted that she and Govinda are no longer cohabiting, but the exact status of their relationship remains ambiguous, as the couple continues to stay tight-lipped. Meanwhile, Govinda’s nephew, actor Krushna Abhishek and his wife Kashmera Shah have also reacted to these speculations.
